City Juarez Chihuahua.
In 1996, the Company of Santa Teresa de Jesús had the dream of building a project in the west of Ciudad Juárez to offer Higher Secondary Education. This is achieved with the support of Father Stanley Martinka, an unconditional pillar for the financing of the work.
In 1998, the Agustín Pro Technological Baccalaureate Center began in a building provided by Lince Humanitario A.C, with 54 students. Later, land donated by the Municipality was obtained. For the construction there was support from FECHAC.
In 2000 the institution moved to the building on 15 de Septiembre Street #1938 in the Ignacio Allende neighborhood. Place where the Baccalaureate currently operates.
In 2011 Father Martinka died. Upon his death, the San Alfonso Mission Foundation continues to contribute around 60% of the total amount involved in supporting the work. The Company has at all times been responsible for carrying out the mission and vision of the work.
In 2018 the curriculum was changed from Technological Baccalaureate to General Baccalaureate. With this, the name Agustín Pro Baccalaureate Center remains. With this change, students benefit from their entry into the Higher Education and Labor Field level. Now there is Training for Work in Information and Communication Technologies.
Our institution serves an average population of 300 students and we have approximately 5,000 graduates. It should be noted that, thanks to the support of the Company, institutions, companies and people committed to education, an 85% scholarship has always been maintained for all students.
The staff of employees is made up of 26 people (Teresians nuns, administrative staff, teachers and general services).
Thanks to the educational quality, the Baccalaureate is recognized by local universities and the community for the impact it has achieved on the environment. We have relatives of alumni (children, nephews, cousins, etc.).
As the Agustín Pro High School Center, we maintain the commitment to continue sowing hope through education, for those who have the least and for the good of our entire society.
